Morris Minotaur Labyrinth   (+5, -2)  [vote for, against]
A modern Labyrinth were you get chased around by a Morris Minor

Morris Minors were often described as "bull nosed" so they already have some of the necessary characteristics to perform the task of the Minotaur. Tunnels would be similar to those in which the Minis raced around, during the film "The Italian Job". Candidates who enter the tunnels would be dressed in a heavily padded rugby ball shaped suit, so that when struck by the Morris Minotaur they would bounce along, becoming even more disorientated but remain physically uninjured. The game ends when the challenger either gives up, staggers out of the labyrinth, or is successfully pinned to the side of one of the tunnels - I get to drive the car.

The original Bull-nose Morris http://www.jp75.dia...e/bullcarpic24A.jpg
(As distinct from the earlier Flat-nose model.) [angel, Oct 24 2005]

Perhaps It would be an idea to further enhance the Minotaurosity of the car by adding some foam padding around the chassis, made to look like the flanks of aforesaid mythological beast. This would also count towards the non-injurement of participants.

"Seventh Day Advent Hoppists. They believed that every Sunday should be spent hopping. They would hop to church, hop through the service, then hop back home again.

You see, they took the Bible literally. Adam and Eve, the snake and the apple--took it word for word. Unfortunately their version had a misprint.

It was all based on 1 Corinthians 13, where it says, "Faith, Hop, and Charity, and the greatest of these is Hop." So that's what they did, every seventh day.

I tell you, Sunday lunchtimes were a nightmare. Hopping around the table serving soup...we all had to wear sou'esters and asbestos underpants. "
