Motion Triggered Breakfast   (+4, -1)  [vote for, against]
Simple and reliable

Only begins making your toast or coffee when the unit detects movement. The unit is only armed within a certain time window. Simply prep the unit the night before and when you wander into the kitchen in the morning it begins perking or toasting.

Put the sensor in the bathroom. That gives a predictable time interval before the food has to be ready.
