Headphones with mp3 capabilities, they'd obviously have to be the larger padded type to be able to fit the hardware. They would have a small USB port on the band to allow for computer connectivity. They would have controls on one of the ears or the option of a wirless remote for more ease of use. No more dropped cd players, and none of the extra weight on your waist.
