Public: Terrorism
No Fly AIR   (+4)  [vote for, against]
Keep undesirables moving, but not in the main channel

POTUS wants to enlarge the no-fly list, targeting for exclusion from international travel even more fringe miscreants and self-destructive rabble. He is, you may recall from the election build, very economically proactive and outspoken in support of business. To deny business access to a broad customer base that has systemic risks but spends 99.9% of its life minding its own affairs seems a bit unreasonable. How then does one reconcile the need for public safety (I'm all for that) with the rights of outlier individuals to meet social obligations with the greater public?

No Fly AIR (No FAIR), a for profit system of airlines, ship, and other common carriers designated as insured and flexible providers of travel itinerary services for the politically sensitive class of travelers may offer an option for those wishing to tour abroad but unable to move freely across borders except afoot. Once profitability is proven and social benefits accrue to support the desirability of such a program, governments now limiting access to many on various terror watch lists could relax their insistence on armed military escorts for No FAIR carriers and cavity searches for passengers and crew.

For some who would object to the general mainstreaming of dissidents, I would ask "Where would you like to go?"

I [+]'d it but remember that the security squeeze has nothing to do with other passengers. Your "Terrorist Air" would still be a threat, perhaps moreso with the group discounts... hmm.
