Non-Event-Specific Rating Cards   (0)  [vote for, against]
Why restrict them to athletic events?

A set of those cards with large black numbers on them like the ones they use at gymnastic events, which you can carry around in a convenient, belt-mounted vinyl case. Whenever you encounter something you're moved to rate---a swell-looking babe, a street musician, a particularly good or bad entrée, etc.---you hold up the appropriate card. This would be most effective in groups, natch. Can't you see it now?: Marauding bands of graphically-opinionated people terrorizing the sensitive populace. Not a bad idea, actually. Especially fun in bars.

Lame. Lame. Lame, but best to look at [phoenix]'s links first. [37Kb image] [bristolz, Oct 05 2004]

I voted for this idea but we may need to do something about gun control before implementing it.

I'm not sure if the croissant is for the idea, or because in your idea you tell me it's not a bad idea.
