OpenPoke   (+1, -5)  [vote for, against]
customizable SuperPoke Facebook App

This is SuperPoke, but where you can add your own Pokes. SuperPoke is great for Pokes like "Throw a Sheep at" or "Dance the Maypole with" or "Marry" or "Divorce". Those are all great. But most of the SuperPokes are like, "do body shots with" or "troutslap" or "be fabulous with" or "tase," all of which make me want to "drunkdial" or "hadouken" the whole operation. So why not make it possible for people to write their own Pokes? I tried to go to developers.facebook.com and I quickly fell asleep from looking at all the words like php and application management and such. Maybe it would be easier to go to the developers forum and just drop in the idea of making SuperPoke open. Don't those applications make alot of money from all the advertisements?

And I see quite a few Halfbakers signed up for it. [DrCurry, May 02 2008]

I hate to be seen to be displaying any great 'poking' prowess - but it's already quite possible, and has been done a number of times.

Baked - Poke Pro. Although the free form pokes are constricted to a somewhat stilted format. I was thinking of writing my own freeform app back when the status was limited to "is" statements, but didn't get around to it.

Sh, [Ian].

I have no idea what this idea is about, but it sounds great. I will be sure to hadouken as soon as I find out what it is.
