Even better than a door to door elevator, this system of harnesses hanging from an elevated rail propels you forward. Like an escalator or automated walkway you can push forward and go even faster than the traffic by having several "overtaking lanes". You can also get off at any point by connecting to the "parking rail" alongside. You pay a lower price if you get on and off at a faster pace.

You also pay a small fine if you cause traffic to slow down or stop and a large fine if it can be shown you did that on purpose.
