Pet Charade   (+1, -5)  [vote for, against]
A game of pet guess who!

A person is delegated the role of announcing and coordinating the game between two teams. Each team has a pet who at the sound of a buzzer must dress their pet up as someone famous (or derivative of some iconic or even abstract entity). A judge has three turns to guess what the pet is supposed to be. If the guess is correct the team is awarded a blue ribbon.

For example when the buzzer sounds a dog is brought out dressed like Toulouse Lautrec or Stalin. If the guess is incorrect, the team must return the pet for another costume change and the round continues again.

Could be adapted to a segment on a television talk show for animal and party game enthusiasts.

Can't you design some ponytail fasteners or something?

[po] I've discovered most Americans don't know Robbie Williams from a slice of toast.

A toast to Robbie Williams. Take That. Did I say Somethin' Stupid? If you mean the Robbie Williams who was born Feb 13, 1974 in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, I never heard of him. Oh well, that's life through a French Stick Lens.

I swear I did not see this before creating the similar and also highly original Pet Disguises idea. Now what I'm wondering--Oh no, what will happen.

[po] (Dec 30): What?? I've only just arrived.

Helium - actually I found that on AllMusicGuide, which as you know is one of my info sources. I'd heard of Robbie, and of Williams, but never Robbie Williams. Toast anyone?
-- thumbwax, Jan 02 2002

sorry angel, I was referring affectionately to thumbwax by one of Robbies best songs. I can't do anything right today.
