Prozac dispenser   (-1)  [vote for, against]
automatic Prozac dispenser

Automatic Prozac dispenser that emits a spray when you enter a public building or store. Think of how pleasant it would be to wait on or serve someone under the influence. It would cut down on public displays of anger and frustration within the confines of a store, resturant, offices, etc.

Welcome to the HB, [oldenough] ... You get a bun for the sheer thought of this where I work [+]

Prozac doesn't quite work the way the author thinks. Walking through a spray concentration of it will do nothing except possibly cause side effects in those prone to them.

Per the offical Prozac website:

"Some people experience mild side effects like nausea, difficulty sleeping, drowsiness, anxiety, nervousness, weakness, loss of appetite, tremors, dry mouth, sweating, decreased sex drive, impotence, or yawning."

The first 10 side effects and the yawning, I can live with. Number 11 & 12 I can't

It takes 4 to 6 weeks for SSRIs to have an effect on most people. Wouldn't marijuana, alcohol, or bullets be quicker?
-- kropotkin, Dec 02 2003

Somehow I don't think bullets would have quite the relaxing effect that oldenough is looking for.
