Fashion: Hi-tech
Robotic Scanning Burqa Light   (+11, -4)  [vote for, against]
For the "Knight Rider" or "Battlestar Galactica" look!

A head-band like arrangement, worn just above or below the eyes, mounted with red LEDs which pulsate and scan from side to side, allowing the burqa-wearer to appear to all outsiders as a hi-tech robotic warrior.

Google suggests "tzniusdik", but then fails to suggest anything that might mean.
-- Wrongfellow, Mar 31 2011

+ This should totally come with a voice changer to make you sound like Darth Vader.

//"tzniusdik", but then fails to suggest anything that might mean//

Is it pashute's problem that Google is so badly informed?

[+], but what a fickle lot we are! <link>
-- MaxwellBuchanan, Apr 01 2011

Is this intended to add to the perception that anyone wearing a burqa is carrying a bomb?
-- Twizz, Apr 01 2011

I was hoping for something naughty.
-- Voice, Apr 01 2011

I thought it would be a spinning led projection of a burka.

[EdwinBakery]: see? It's OK to be racist as long as it's funny.
-- MaxwellBuchanan, Apr 02 2011

I never know burqa wearers were a separate race,
-- pocmloc, Apr 02 2011

I'd say that this targets something cultural, whereas the linked idea targets something racial, or in fact, racializes.
-- rcarty, Apr 02 2011

That's OK then.
-- MaxwellBuchanan, Apr 04 2011

Whoever is offended by this was already offended.
