Rubber Baby Bumper Cars   (0)  [vote for, against]
Fairground Instructions for Dinky Dodgems Use:

1. You have to be this tall to ride the bumper cars --------------------------------
2. Don the bumper car shoes and strap a radio controller on each wrist. Make sure the left remote controls the left dinky dodgem and vice versa unless you are an advanced rider.
3. Buckle on the antenna helmet and make sure it makes contact with the electric grid ceiling. Check the diagram below.
4. Steer the individual cars by moving their joy sticks left, right, forward or backward.
5. Stop by squatting to break contact with the ceiling. Do not lean your head forward or you’ll put someone’s eye out.
6. Avoid crossing your legs or doing a split. Enjoy your ride!

Actually, halfway beyond - no power grid needed, speeds up to 35 mph. [FarmerJohn, Oct 05 2004, last modified Oct 21 2004]

Well, we don't know who's taking over for Pierce Brosnan, but we know who's taking over for John Cleese+

Serious pain potential, steering the cars that way.

Seems like electric roller skates with a handheld speed controller would do the job.

I see a hernia in your future.

Seconded. Why not just motorize roller blades?
-- DrCurry, Apr 30 2004

Wouldn't want someone else to get their hands on those controls.
