Since gaming youtubers often have early access to games, they may have a little of an unfair advantage over other normal gamers.

Separating them may help level the playing field. And also promote rivalries between youtubers to play your game.

I really don't get this YouTube/Game connection - this may be entirely down to jaded perception, but it seems as though lots of people would rather watch someone else play a game, and react over-excitedly to it on YouTube, than actually play the game themselves.
