Shared suitcase lock for use by Airport Security   (0)  [vote for, against]
Only owner and Transportation Security Agency can open suitcase

I hate having to send suitcases unlocked. So why not lock them like mailboxes where both USPS and you have access. A locking strap with user settable combination and Transportation Security Agency [TSA] override to unlock/lock it would be popular. If anything it seems more insecure to me that the luggage is unlocked and available for tampering after the inspection. The TSA lock function could timestamp the "INSPECTED" state and revoke it when unlocked.

Transportation Security Administration, the US agency responsible for oversight of all the transportation and port security, created under the auspices of the US Dept of Homeland Security.

[zardoz] many, many users on this site are not from the U.S.A. and so would not recognize what your use of "TSA' means.
