Go places while sitting on the toilet.

Are public bathroom cubicles just way too boring? Then try the latest craze in public bathroom history. You just walk in the cubicle, lock the door, and then choose your simulation with the buttons provided on the cubical wall. You can choose from a Martian desert, under the sea, in space, the South Pole, the Canadian woods, or a lush tropical rain forest. All scenes come with sound. After your done going, and you walk out of the cubicle, the simulation ends, and it's ready for the next person.

Yuck, I don't want to touch those buttons, could you make it voice activated? And while you are at it, please make the other functions also voice activated, like "flush", "wash" (hands), "paper" (towel). - Of course such a fancy system would likely be installed in a building for show off to international guest, so it would have to be multilingual.

You could pretend you were a rocket with stages breaking away.

I dunno. I don't think I'd be use to 'waiting for nature' sitting in the middle of a tropical rainforest.

If you could just make the cubicle stay smelling like the Canadian woods you'd have a winner.

How realistic would these simu"loo"tions be? If I choose Antartica, can I write my name in the snow?
-- friendlyfire, Jun 15 2003

So if you are the shy type and you recently had beans for dinner you could call up the Urban Construction Zone simulation, complete with jackhammers, to drown out your own gastric rumblings? Cool!

friendlyfire, in a word, no.

hmm business owners could spend 10,000 to 20,000 on normal partitions or a few hundred thousand on this idea...umm yeah i don't think it will happen anytime soon.

Or alternatively the simulation randomly places you at a high-school graduation, business presentation or on the stage of the Royal Albert hall on the last night of the Proms.

I just know there's a "Bathroom Operator From Hell" joke lurking in the bushes
