Soapaste   (-1)  [vote for, against]
Soap in a tube for shower/bath

Same consistency/container as toothpaste.

Disclaimer: Don't mix 'em up unless you want to wash your mouth out with soap, you foul-mouthed, minty-fresh skin halfbakers.

How to make soapaste http://www.halaless...om/afblacsoap1.html
First, it takes a village... [dalek, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

It would go well with solid shampoo http://www.lush.com....search&product=334
This one's on the madradish wish list (it makes my hair smell yummy) [madradish, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

I used to love putting soap on my brother's toothpaste as a kid. With this stuff I could switch tubes and leave that bit to him. Excellent.

Seriously though, wouldn't it have difficulty dissolving quickly enough, unless you made it more like gel, in which case...

Gel is baked. A dab of paste'll do ya just fine.

Isn't soapaste just shampoo that's best it's expiration date?

But I do think this would eliminate soap crud as I wished to do with "soap with mat" this is much more convenient and feasible. And the comedy value rocks.

Give that wax a croissant!

Isn't this baked in half the motels in the country? I'm usually given some sort of "bodywash" liquid soap in a tube.

No this paste. There's a world of differance.

I used to use a shampoo with the consistency of toothpaste (and came in a tube), but they stopped making it.

After poking about a bit on the Internet, it looks as though soap starts out as a paste, and then you have to do things to it to make it set hard. So this should be extremely easy to manufacture.

This is a really super idea for jetsetters on the move like me! You ever tried traveling with a bar of soap, you put it in your suitcase when you set off, think nothing more on the subject, but that night you get to your motel, kick off shoes maaaah thats good, tum ti tum open luggage GOOD HEAVENS looks like a beavers been sick all over your pants. Worse, you really froth up in regions of great precepitation.

It's even worse once you've started using the soap bar, because once your finished the bar's covered in soap crud which then sticks to anything you put it in.

Btw this will probably be my last day at the bakery until after New Year (sob, sob, sniffle) I only have an internet connection at school. But it isn’t all bad next Monday-Wednesday I’m staying in a high-class hotel for free! Just because I’m doing some engineering scheme. Who ever said, “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” was very wrong.
