Velcro'd pillow cubes

Little, Velcro-covered pillows about 4" or 6" on a side. Easy to play with, has limitless constructs, non-injuring and can't be swallowed by baby.

My preference would be to have three 'male' and three 'female' faces on each cube (both in 'U' shapes) but any combination is possible. Since the pillow version won't work well taller structures, the pre-school version could be a padded plastic block for greater structural integrity.

Something solid to put these cushions on. [bookworm, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

That's not entirely true. I expect my sandwich to be cut at the corners and my beer ice cold - and while you're at it, pick up my socks. *Ducks*

I'm just trying to figure out whose faces we are going to put on the pillows.

Could we also do something about linclon logs? They are a pain to get out of the throats that they lodge so well in.

These might have some practical uses besides toys. Build your child's bed larger as he grows with them, for one.

so sweet, so impractical, the adults might like these better :)

Great for building play forts ....

On a more serious level, the basis for reconfigurable furniture ?
