One of the most horrifying movies ever made, based on a true story (I think) is now coming to you as an ice skating theatrical.
Viewer disgression advised-- DesertFox, Feb 28 2005 Urban Legends http://www.snopes.c.../films/chainsaw.aspMore like "inspired by" than "based upon" - no chainsaws in the original. [DrCurry, Feb 28 2005] Halloween on Ice http://www.kurtfile...views/hoireview.php [robinism, Mar 01 2005] chainsaw ice skating http://www.popularm...sport-for-lunatics/ [theircompetitor, Apr 02 2015] Viewer digression, maybe?-- DrCurry, Feb 28 2005 Never saw the remake of the movie, but the original was scary/great! "C'mon kids, put on your Sunday best, we're going to the Ice Capades--they're performing 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'!"-- Machiavelli, Feb 28 2005 I'd rather see Evil Dead 2 on ice.-- jaksplat, Feb 28 2005 I would pay good money to see a skater do a triple flip with a chainsaw.-- MrDaliLlama, Feb 28 2005 No chain saws, no horrifying carbon monoxide fumes.-- mensmaximus, Feb 28 2005 Careful with that chainsaw on the Ice... :P-- NeoPiter, Feb 28 2005 A new cast every show?-- wagster, Feb 28 2005 Bloody Ice skatings dangerous enough without adding chainsaws to the mix. Nearly dislocated my arse last time I went.-- etherman, Feb 28 2005 Didn't the creator of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'claim that he was in a hardware store, there were tonnes of people there, he looked up, and - voila! Chainsaw! 'I bet if I had one of those I could get out very easily...' He thought menacingly to himself...
The original owner of the ice rink wasn't very open minded to the idea... Then he suddenly disappeared. I suppose the new owners are a lot more clear-headed to this masterpeice... (ie, they decided that you can't win an argument with someone who has a chainsaw. Can't imagine why!)
Will this have real blood?-- froglet, Feb 28 2005 <Doctor approaches etherman who is lying prone on a hospital bed> "Well Mr. Etherman, you appear to have a dislocated arse. Nothing to worry about, we'll just have Nurse Sadist pop it back in for you and you'll be right as rain in no time."-- wagster, Feb 28 2005 And me, my arse and the Nursie lived Happily Ever After.-- etherman, Feb 28 2005 Igors would certainly help (From the Discworld books)-- DesertFox, Feb 28 2005 Even better- "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Musical On Ice"-- k_sra, Feb 28 2005 can they do ice sculptures live?-- theircompetitor, Feb 28 2005 The simple thought of ice skaters in pain is wonderful. [+]-- darkboy115, Feb 28 2005 Carcer (from another Discworld novel) would make a great chainsaw murderer.-- froglet, Feb 28 2005 Ahhh. Night Watch. 1st Terry Pratchett book I ever read.-- DesertFox, Feb 28 2005 "Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Ice, on Ice" - Communicating, through the medium of ice dancing, the idea of performing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre as an ice dancing spectacle.-- hippo, Feb 28 2005 What [jaksplat] wrote.
Bun for evil on ice.-- skinflaps, Feb 28 2005 Darkboy115: Most skaters (and athletes in general) spend their lives in pain already..-- ayt, Feb 28 2005 How about having it as a floorshow in a Greek restaurant. Texas chainsaw moussaka.-- Basepair, Feb 28 2005 I was thinking of the possibilities of a musical. Very amusing. :)-- DesertFox, Mar 01 2005 Viewer disection?
I thought they called this 'Hockey.'-- RayfordSteele, Mar 01 2005 This could possibly replace the NHL.-- MrDaliLlama, Mar 01 2005 "Halloween on Ice", with horror themes, has been done (see link). May have featured death spirals and death drops.-- robinism, Mar 01 2005 Now seen on TV in segments.-- mensmaximus, Mar 01 2005 I understand blood can bounce on ice. Not a hockey fan. I have never seen it. A google of the term found many hits, but no explanation of what might be involved. But if this is true, clearly it would be an integral part of this production.-- bungston, Mar 01 2005 Now THIS is good.-- doctorremulac3, Apr 03 2015 Now THIS is good.-- doctorremulac3, Apr 03 2015 Only if there is singing, ballet, and ooooooooooooohh
The man in the mask is so terribly near but the girl with the gun has no reason to fear for the hard boiled detective can see very clear now that his old beau has poured out all his beer
No worries in houses that smell like old dust the creaking and clinking of fence-gates with rust for we all know by hist'ry of seeing her bust she's the love interest and dying of lust
With comedy, drama, and songs very trite all plot holes and loopholes and ew, what a sight of death and dismemberment, look at their pliiiiiiiight Of darkness and fear we can always make light.-- Voice, Apr 03 2015 random, halfbakery
