Halfbakery: Song: N-Z
The House of the Rising Bun   (+8, -1)  [vote for, against]
This one's been baking in my head all day.

There is a site in cyberspace,
They call the halfbakery,
it's been the lure of many a strange soul;
and I know that one is me.

Now jutta is the master,
she baked up the whole thing;
a place for obscurities to flock,
with delicious cream-cheese rings.

Now the only thing a 1/2baker needs,
is a keyboard and a cause;
and the only time he's happy,
is when he's on the lap of Sorta Clause.

Now 'bakers, think upon this,
before you do what I have done;
I tried for one too many croissants
at the House of the Rising Bun.

With one hand in the custard,
My wakefulness to sustain,
I'm going back to the halfbakery,
to rack my misused brain.

There is a site in cyberspace,
They call the halfbakery,
it's been the lure of many a strange soul;
and I know that one is me.

I've visited the tagline idea before, but I never realized that somebody had posted a tagline of the same name as the title of this song. I never bothered to read all the annotations fully, although I might have seen it and stored it in my subconscience, from which it later surfaced. I'm not going to bother to change the idea name/lyrics, though - it just seems to fit too nicely.

With the permission of Mr. 'Bubba, I mean. Should he object, I'll change them.
