The Obamaras of Light   (+1, -6)  [vote for, against]
A spiralling rocket is let into a country's sky one night before an international leader arrives to said country.

Would help make a spectacle of politics.

I don't get the idea.

It's an interesting event, and I wonder what caused this - but as a halfbakery idea, this is very thin. Wasn't It Cool, This Event That Happened? Wouldn't It Be Neat If It Were Repeated? C'mon, you're better than that.

The motivation would be more an immortalization of the original event.

And did not the stone roll down the hill before the wheel was invented? Hmm?

Would explain the three Persian wise men showing up in Oslo...

#*3/?:* where the bleep did my anno go?

Russia had a failure in their test of a 3 stage submarine launched ICBM.

This was the spiraling light so obfsscutiated by the doughman.

It failed on the 3rd stage - such failure observible from Finland.

If no failure, no news. OP's Hate for Obama withstanding. (My appypologies. I saw my first anno not go through on refresh)

If Obama had actually been on that ICBM and parachuted out into a glorious halo of light to land amidst an adoring crowd, that would've been an entry to beat all. If he had actually done anything to earn the peace prize other than escalate a war, that would've been good too.
