Thermosperm Bath Ball Bag   (+6, -1)  [vote for, against]
Enjoy a hot bath, without poaching your nuts.

Relaxing in a deep, hot bath can be well, relaxing, but for males it comes with the caveat that the hot water adversely affects sperm production.

No more! The Thermosperm Bath Ball Bag is a polymer bag that ensures sperm production continues smoothly at bath time. The bag incorporates two spigots – one is connected via flexible hose to the cold tap, the other is essentially a purge into the ambient bathwater. The bag cinches up around the neck of the scrotum to ensure an acceptable seal, providing the wearer’s veges with a neutral buoyancy microclimate of sperm production luxury.

The cold water can be on a constant trickle feed, or can be delivered in icy bursts as the preference of the user dictates.

The purge spigot prevents pressure build-up in the bag, and can be plumbed to a remote drain if required, as not to lower the temperature of the surrounding water too quickly.

The effect of hot baths on sperm http://www.puzzlepi...trol/kiser1962.html
"to achieve contraception through temporary male sterilization...the treatment consists of a sitting bath of 45 minutes, at a temperature of 116 F. daily, for a period of 3 weeks. This treatment results in sterility which lasts for at least 6 months...." I wonder if the Pope is square with that... [DrCurry, Apr 27 2006]

would you need to sit at the tap end?

it could double as a plug.

An appropriate idea given your username. Some fools rely on heat for birth control. Too dicey for my tastes.

/would you need to sit at the tap end? /

No. The hose is 1.5m long, and can be run along the gunwale of the tub to prevent excessive heat transfer.

what is a gunwale?

damn, I had such a funny mental image.

A croissant for cleverness.

The need for low temperature is why all us males are prancing around with our squishy bits outside our bodies. A good argument against divine design.

As evidenced by the existence of my 19-year-old son, normal hot baths do not have any real impact on fertility.

Mmmmm, beer nuts.
