I download "in our time" and listen on headphones while riding the bus. There are also some good lectures at Oxford Podcasts you can get a mp3s. I tried Ronsheim's lectures on music but they were less suitable for bus listening.

When I lived in San Francisco this would have been incredibly lovely for riding on BART. But now that I am stuck here in the cornfields of hell, and there is no mass transit, except for a couple scary buses. it wouldn't do me much good. A 2 second class would be about the size of it. From one side of town to the next.
