Two Faced Nut Job   (+25, -1)  [vote for, against]
Nut Jars That Open On Both Sides

There you are slowly inhaling a jar of deluxe nuts, when you realize that peanuts and cashews -- read filler -- have largely displaced pecans and what nut (sic)

Sure you can shake the can for a while to surface the tasty morsels, but how much simpler would it be to simply close the jar, flip it over, and get instant access to the treasures below.

With opposing threads on each end. When the nuts are long gone, a pipe, as big as your nut hunger, can be made.
-- wjt, Oct 17 2009

Cool idea. Save some lids and this is bakeable with a can opener.
-- nomocrow, Aug 25 2010

Sorry, already half-baked by Al Jafee in MAD Magazine, 1979 [link].
-- the porpoise, Aug 03 2016

It certainly seems pre-baked by the ever excellent mad magazine. This does happen, and credit where credit is due is given, but the idea should remain and not be assigned an mfd, as without it, someone else will inevitably think of it and post it again in time.
-- xenzag, Aug 04 2016

Also, this idea is not quite the same thing.
