USB Stress reliever   (+1)  [vote for, against]
Beating up computers can get expensive.

Computers piss me off. Sometimes they piss me off so much that I need to kick them, and punch them and generally beat them up. This can get expensive. I want a device which I can plug in to my computer to let it know just how badly it screwed up. I want it to feel every kick. I want to strangle the life out of it....I want my computer to fear me.

How about a USB punching bag, so I can kick the crap out of my computer without actually hurting it. It would display messages like, "I'm sorry" or "I won't do it again" or "Thank you sir, may I have another". After enough punches, maybe it could get a black eye, or start bleeding profusely. That would be nice.....

Maybe add some A.I. as [IronFroggy] suggested in the F.O.A.D idea. The computer would learn what causes it to get "hurt" so it could either explain itself or stop. The severity of the beating would give it a clue about how badly it screwed up, and with regular "lessons," it could learn to be a better computer.

I used to have a $5 "screen saver" that let you jackhammer, machine gun, flamethrower, smash and/or throw dead fish at the screen. By the look of it, not a lot different from po's link.

p.s. sp. reliever.

I don't want to click, I want to punch...A jackhammer or machine gun that uses a mouse as an interface is sorely inadequate for my lust for violence.

LOL!

I think the paper clip already tries to do that. That office assistant is evil. It's all in the subtext....That's why he must die.

Paperclip? What paperclip? :)

[Rods] - pure gold :) (I hate that smarmy bastard*! I want to see a showdown between the paperclip and that bird thing** from LyX.)

*I don't have it at home, but I do at work. Grr.
**Oh, it's not a bird, it's just a miscellaneous mascot "usually described as a deformed platypus."
