Universal Subtitles/Amara allows for distributed captioning of web video, which makes that video accessible to people who are deaf or hard of hearing. This idea is for a similar network but for video description of video for blind people. It would allow anyone to post any video to the site and have anyone else volunteer to video describe it. The video descriptions could then be voted on as more people described the videos or parts of the videos.
