Voidy sutures packed with stem cells   (+1, -1)  [vote for, against]
a suture with hollow islands --<>--<>--<>-- and the islands are stuffed with stem cells or peptides

Think of a suture ---------------------

Now think of the suture with hollow voids at regular intervals

--<>--<>--<>--<>--

You could load the holes with stem cells of the vascular(or other) type to make healing more rapid or complete. You could also load the voids with peptide gel.

The idea is that the tissue you stitch back together heals faster from the stem cells or peptides.

If the ascii graphics are unclear think of a beaded curtain string, with breathsavers instead of beads. (breathsavers look like lifesavers with the hole filled with breath freshener)

Far more valuable than any doctor. [8th of 7, Jan 14 2018]

You should put that idea directly to Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick <link>.

It seems like a good idea to think of things that improve human well being. That and Glaxo Smith Kline has a page where you can just submit new technology ideas so I sometimes think "make a medical idea". Other halfbakers might like doing this too.

P.S. I know it is the *halfbake*ry but still...
