"Dangerous" Rollercoaster   (+7, -1)  [vote for, against]
Make the ride a little scarier.

A rollercoaster with a few seats taken by animatronic or holographic riders. These fake riders stick their arms and legs out of the car and get them whacked off by passing beams.

Other options for fun: fake gaps in the track, unused sections of track that collapse next to you, loose bolts rolling around inside the cars...

(This is actually my brother's idea from years ago.)

Here's another idea I'm pretty sure we've done before.

Also baked in "The House on Haunted Hill".

I like this. It would stop eejits sticking their arms out, for one thing. But there are problems. Either you tell your customers about the animatronics and ruin the surprise/shock or you don't and get sued up the wazoo for emotional distress/nervous shock. Croissant anyway, just for the mental image of a screaming, hysterical Brownie troop doused in fake blood being escorted from the ride. By an 8ft tall pirate.

Dead Kennedy's sing Funland At The Beach

Sunny Sunday at the amusement park
See the fat kids spill their pop
Oh babe-lots of flags and balloons
But someone sabotaged the rollercoaster last night

Ran a turn and then it smashed right down
Thru the crowded haunted house below
Oh No
Human hamburger No

And it's Crushed little Kids
Crushed little Kids
Crushed little Kids
Adorn the boardwalk

See the tourists drop their jaws and cones
See the owners smell a big lawsuit
Oh Police! (call your lawyer first)
Make the witnesses go home
And they'll turn on the TV

And see the crushed little kids
Adorn the boardwalk
