Bluetooth repeaters are set up at intervals in the park. At the start of the show, everybody tunes in to see a stunning masterpiece of virtual pyrotechnical wizardry on their iPhones and the like.

Along the bottom of the display scrolls personalized crowd-noise cues: "OOoohhhhhhhh... Ahhhhhhhhhhh", synchronized with the graphics.

If this was some hack to short out smartphone batteries to give a son et lumiere (and screaming) effect...

but none the less one bun for environmentally friendly

Actually, if the system could be programmed to cause iPhones to explode, you could convert that fishbone to a bun …

Hmm, terrible echo in here..

you didn't put a tick in the acoustic tiles box when posting? Took me ages to find that option.

You would probably get a lot more bunnage if you could rig it so the iPhones themselves would produce shimmering showers of sparks, smoke and the occasional *whump!* whilst they self-destruct.

Can't you just stick a paperclip into the connector on the bottom? That might make a more realistic fireworks effect!
