mirror camera   (0)  [vote for, against]
mirror captures images appearing [reflected] by it and stores as pictures/video

The mirror stores the images reflected by it so can be used for surveilance or to jus plain take your own picture! A video camera could be embedded or suitalble material [plasma] should be used to make the mirror.

check out this sight...... [babyhawk, Oct 04 2004]

Wouldn't the camera have to be pointed *at* the mirror to catch the reflected image? Embedded into the mirror to capture the reflected images doesn't make much sense

Gromit: we did that one (video mirror) before.

lemme get this straight: put a camera behind a display device and display a reversed version of what the camera sees? Aside from the direct line of sight gained by putting the camera behind the display, this is fully possible with virtually every webcam software package available. Sorry, [-] Baked.

On a bigger bathroom with two sinks and mirrors one could crosswire the displays. Person steps up to "mirror" A, sees image on "mirror" B, steps over to B to have a closer look at whatevr s/he wants to check, image switches to A, ...
