reactive hair gel   (+2, -2)  [vote for, against]
for bad hair days, just take your time

you would buy the hair gel in sets of two, the first you would apply to your hair to style it, it would allow you to mould you hair into all positions but would not set, when you had found your perfect style (which you would have plenty of time to do with the gel not setting) you would apply the second lotion. it would have to be in spray form so you dont wreck your style, then the reaction between the two gels would cause them to set.

Not bad. BUT...

what?

I'm not sure if you're looking for that permanent a hairstyle, but resin and hardener (go to your local hardware store) will suffice.

Don't expect any pretty scents, nor for it to wash out anytime soon.

Even better, the type of superglue that doesn't set up until you spray the catalyst on it. Never have to worry about a bad hair day again, as long as you get it right the first time...

Epoxies are the most common of two-part systems that work this way, though there are others.

I think this is a bad idea. You need the gel to start to set in order to achieve certain styles. As it starts to stiffen you can mould and shape your hair more easily than when it is all runny and wet.

Also, dont try the spray hardner, i have used it before and it burns your skin.

(i didn't use it on my hair though!)
