Product: Clock: Subjective Time
time-twigs   (+9, -2)  [vote for, against]
device that ensures you are always on time-ish

This is a very simple device that you can fit to any watch or clock that has moving hands. It consists of two hairy sleeves, each of which terminates in either a small bundle of twigs or a ball of entangled wire. Depending on how average you want your time keeping, you can calibrate it by squashing up or spreading out the bundle before slipping it over the hands of the clock or watch.

So, a sort of fuzzy time? Hmm... An alternative embodiment might be a ring of highly refractive material which is placed on the crystal to refract the digits away from their proper position (some closer to eachother, others further apart)

Added illustration which was part of a talk on my work this week.

Until I got to the time keeping bit I was pretty sure I had inadvertantly baked this idea, several times. Especially if a pant leg can be considered a sleeve.

I was pondering on the negative vote and for a watch swapping the hands for the new indicators of the same weight, might be a better way to go. Especially if the ish needs to be a repeatable period.
