like rope climbing but bouncing up

you start off in a sitting position, as you bounce up you catch the rope and pull yourself a bit higher, next bounce brings you even higher. You can use your feet on the wall to "run up" even higher, finally reaching the top of the wall, where you jump to the other side, into a deep pool.

While looking for the rope walking merry-go-round I found this... [pashute, Jun 26 2013]

The difference between the ideas:

a. xenxag's Climbing up a Rope: rope with spring

b. 21's quest - the Bounce Tower: Assortment of trampolines.

c. My (pashute's) - Trampoline staircase: Used in the home and building, as a staircase replacement.

d. This idea: A Single trampoline with static rope and wall assistance.

Okay, I was missing the idea. So it's a fixed trampoline with a fixed rope to yank on to gain a little bit of height at the top? That's actually feasible.

My big question becomes, how do you avoid adding enough lateral motion during the yank so that you either miss the trampoline or slam into the wall?

21Q Thanks. [edited] both Meche and you got it correctly. You can yank on it or you can catch it and climb (you'll need to be stronger for that).

I don't see why the yanking will throw you off. Your going up, and pulling up.

The point is fun. You don't continuously clime, so you get a "rest" between jumps, and slowly go higher and higher each time. Reaching great heights is something people strive at on trampolines.

Here along with your feet pushing when on the trampoline, you have chances to pull yourself up a bit when your on top, and to walk on wall while on the way up.

Something a bit different exists as a merry-go- round with a rope, and is similar fun.

Trampoline wall walking looks amazing.

Cant find it. Anybody saw a youtube with two kids (girls?) trying to "run along the side of" a turning "giant barrel". They are in a harness on a rope from a tall pole at the center.

As they go around the barrel, and jump off it, they try to keep their direction correctly, but instead land with their shoulders or backs to the barrel.

I tried: Playground, Wooden, Round, Rotating, Turning, Merry-go-round, Climb wall, Fun, Fail... to no avail.

Advice, anybody?
