Food: Tea: Bag
Tea bag with milk   (+6, -3)  [vote for, against]
Do not open bag and pour boiling water on it.

A conventional tea bag, but also containing a soluble capsule (like the ones used for liquid washing detergent) which has UHT milk in it.

Alternatively, powdered skim milk.

Does not include sugar or sweetener.

Good idea for those who put milk in their tea!+

(I'm a tea & honey person myself.)
-- xandram, Oct 07 2010

Interesting link, [xan]. Doubt it's liquid milk, though.

Dissolving capsules of real milk that must be refrigerated?

Yuk.

Disgusting.
-- pocmloc, Oct 07 2010

Why would you do such a horrible thing?
-- kaz, Oct 07 2010

[21] If you look close it's a bag of Milk Tea! It doesn't say individual (tea) bags--you know how that Asian advertising is!! (but you might be right!)
-- xandram, Oct 07 2010

[link] Looks like a powder you mix in water. No bags, but same drink?
-- Boomershine, Oct 07 2010

Bleurgh!
-- infidel, Oct 07 2010

I found another link (link) which may help explain. Those crazy Japanese - it's practically like a different culture.
-- MaxwellBuchanan, Oct 07 2010

//Those crazy Japanese//

I know. They were speaking Chinese!
-- Boomershine, Oct 07 2010

Those links aren't the same. That being said, milk does have quite a bit of water in it, sooo... The (refridgerated, mind you) shelf life of these things will be limited by that I would imagine.
-- daseva, Oct 07 2010

Unless the idea mentions UHT milk. Oh... it does...
-- infidel, Oct 08 2010

Hmm, it seems [Infidel] has learned to read. Obviously a dangerous subversive.

Thanks [Maxwell]- I thought it was a bag of mix and so it is.
(Japanese snack treat?) huh?
