The electric toothbrush is surely one of the greatest achievements in human history. But it could be so much more versatile. My dad's old Black & Decker drill could be turned into a hedge trimmer, sander, circular saw etc by fitting readily available accessories. Why not aply the same technique to the toothbrush? Corn paring, nasal hair trimming, nail clipping.. no end of sanitary procedures could be mechanised in one simple package. It should even be possible to provide some sexual functions, for those so inclined.
