Psychedelic Mobile Toilet Cube   (+10, -6)  [vote for, against]
Do your business while you do your business

This was going to be incredibly hard to illustrate with words so I drew a picture, follow link.

The Mobile Toilet Cube is a cube with a toilet. And it's mobile. The toilet's inside the cube, which is moved by the electric wheelchair controls.

Since geocities is extinct, here it is again. [AfroAssault, Dec 22 2014]

I see.
-- egnor, Oct 02 2001

Oops, egnor found this first...I didn't provide details and blueprints...

Powered by rechargable battery, has water reservoir and bidet, rubber (or similar material) gasket to keep the smells from going out (air fresheners inside, too), wheels on the bottom (I didn't draw any cuz it looked cooler), uhh, what else?
-- AfroAssault, Oct 02 2001

What's that you pointin' on yo homeypage - a Glock?
-- thumbwax, Oct 02 2001

Yes, that's a glock, but that's not me, I'm not 300 lbs. That's my friend Matt.

As odd as it may seem, I was very serious about this idea, but I added my own failed attempts at humor to it. For some reason, I always wanted a portable toilet which was contained in a box where your top half would still be free to do as always. I don't know why, though.

So would this be a cube as in an office cubicle ("do your business"), or just a cube large enough to enclose and conceal the plumbing and your plumbing-proximate bits?
-- wiml, Oct 03 2001

Step 1: See picture (yeah, big enough for your lower half).
Step 2: Pretend I drew wheelchair-style wheels on there.
Step 3: Also pretend the guy doesn't have an intergalactic ray gun.
Step 4: Change the box color to whatever you want.
Step 5: Damn, I suck real bad

garnut alboir sicomg?
-- technobadger, Oct 03 2001

Okay, that confused the living hell out of me. A search here and on google did nothing to allay this confusion. What the fuck does garnut alboir sicomg mean?
-- AfroAssault, Oct 03 2001

Oh man you missed the great "garnut alboir sicomg?" hoax? Somebody wrote a post in some lingo that looked vaguely like Malaysian, though it turned out not to be. As far as I know no one ever did decipher it. Wasn't a substitution code or anything we could break.

Anyway, I just can't imagine...going down a street whilst...you know, the kind of funny look you get on your face when...and then there's funny noises...or a kind of uncomfortable surprise...especially when the damn bidet malfunctions and your ass is being continuously washed...you wonder what's running down your leg...No, I just can't feature it. Nice drawring, though.

Well I like it.
-- DrBob, Nov 19 2001

Stumbled across this, and I have to give it a croissant just for that drawing.
-- krelnik, Mar 31 2003

And silencer, of course.
-- RayfordSteele, Mar 31 2003

//give it a croissant just for that drawing.//

Me too.

I wonder what could possibly have triggered this idea?
-- FloridaManatee, Apr 01 2003

26 continuous hours of CNN war coverage. And no bathroom break.

<random churning, owing to the posting of a robotic mobile toilet idea>
-- david_scothern, Feb 14 2005

Ooh, this is GOOD! I love the way that you can unsettle people on the phone by telling them that you're on the toilet (whether you are or not). How much more you could unsettle them if you came to see them in person whilst on the toilet.
-- wagster, Feb 14 2005

My idea, david_scothern.
-- DesertFox, Feb 14 2005

Don't Mac do one of these?
-- benfrost, Feb 15 2005

Perhaps the greatest casualty of the geocities closure
-- calum, May 23 2014

[calum] - turns out I still had this on my computer, so the picture is once again available.

Here I am in my 30s, uploading a picture of a futuristic mobile toilet I drew as a teenager. Life is truly a strange journey.

Is it still?
-- MaxwellBuchanan, Dec 23 2014

*checks link* Yes!
-- calum, Dec 24 2014

Don't you find that discouraging?
