I started out as an electrical engineer at Cammel Laird in Liverpool then moved from shipbuilding to electronic aviation for BAe systems- then oddly enough gave both up and became a project accountant. My dream role would have to be a park ranger - driving around national parks in a 4x4 rescueing wounded critters.
I'm 41, live in leafy Cheshire, enjoy landscape gardening, home improvement, oil painting, woodworking, reading everything from Bill Bryson to Omar Khayyam and I exercise regularly by running, climbing and caneoing.
Been reading these semi cooked ideas for a year and decided to throw in a few of my own.
