How do you check your rear lamp is bright while riding your bicycle at night?. Use a length of fiber optic cable from the rear lamp to the handle bar.
The gear you have selected could also be indicated on your handle bar using a fiber optic cable and lamp.
A fiber optic cable wraped around the frame with the outer cover exposing light through cracks would also improve visability.
