A vending machine to serve up a variety of alcoholic drink mixes. The idea would be to save on costs/price while giving a decent quality product, which happens to be an alcoholic drink mix.
The machine would require you to scan your driver's license, and would not serve you if you have DUI on your
record. It could also serve you only a certain maximum number of drinks within a certain amount of time, based on keeping track of the alcohol content in each drink served.
The machine could be stationed in any bar, club, or restaurant. It could be even ported to various impromptu celebration events to serve celebrants, and could be rented for parties, etc.

I don't think this would pass legal muster, as there's no way to prevent it from dispensing a beverage to an over-intoxicated customer, or to verify that the person presenting the ID to be scanned is the one paying for the beverage. That's a key part of a bartender's job, judging who has and hasn't had too much. You COULD have a built in breathalyzer that won't serve if you're above a certain BAC, but it'd be a job unto itself to keep the disposable probe covers stocked on a busy night. |

I wanna see the machine do a "shaken, not stirred" sort of thing. Maybe robot arms grab the drink and shake it around, ir the whole machine does an off-balance washing machine jig. |

And based on the patrons body weight which can be read from their drivers license. Assuming the above mentioned breathalyzer feature is not implemented. |

A quick google of "robot bartender" will get you plenty of examples of this idea both deployed and for sale. |
