Now that face transplants have become viable, I would like to see a new type of transplant registry established.

This would be unlike the current conventional lists of kidneys, livers, hearts etc., as this one would collate together all the external features that folk were willing to donate. The reciprocal of this would of course be the "features wanted" pages.

"Live" exchanges would be possible, generating ads such as "My white, mid European nose and lips, for your Afro style equivalent"

Transplant/exchanges would mostly be facial features, ranging from an entire visage to a pair of eyebrows, or the dimple on a chin.

I've always fancied a nifty moustache to groom, sprouting on the index finger on my left hand. A blinking eye instead of my belly button would also be high on my own wish list.

Gah! I love my moustache! Fie upon you for trying to steal it and attach it to your finger! I don't know where your finger's been, much less where it will be! Shall I let my moustache go? I think NOT!

DF I'll swap you an ear for the left half of that moustache. This is my final offer!

[DF], dare you to have your moustaches transplanted to your eyebrows. No tissue rejection issues, either.

[UB] Tissue rejection is not a problem. In [DF's] example, if the ear falls off, he can just return it and get his moustache back, which I promise to keep nicely waxed and trimmed.

Are you offering anything [UB] ? I have two webbed toes on each foot that would look great sprouting on the end of someone's elbow.
