Bioluminescent Digital Ink
Make it glow!

My idea is to use a white Bioluminescent material as the white side of digital ink particles. The particles would behave the same as regular digital ink but the white side would be able to glow on command. By using a negative setting the letters would appear white on a black background and could then be made to glow. This would permit editable text that can be seen in the dark for use in billboards, street signs, license plates, and other types of display media.

How do you get energy to the bioluminescent material?
