How about a electronic device consisting of a remote controlled collar for a cat or other small animal (ferret, hamster, smallish dog, monkey, etc)

When you see it misbehaving, you'd press a button and give it either a small electric "jolt" or some kind of ultrasonic discouragement.

With the advent of bluetooth technology, you'd be able to give your cat a boot in the arse for drinking out of the toilet whilst you are miles away at work.

While I like the idea I'd rather have it for friends than my precious fur monsters. In particular one that just got a new girlfriend. Everytime they start to trade spit in public while I'm around I would love to give them a good jolt. I guess the more I think about it, it should probably need to stay with small furry critters. My friend would just think it was love and try harder.

I wouldn't buy expensive furniture while I have pets. I have always said I was waiting for them to grow up, unfortunately they never have.
