A large spinning umbrella with rotor spikes sends the air out and creates lift

The umbrella also serves as a kite catching the drift but always stays up because of the heavier handle and the lift of the lighter thinner air inside.

The spinning of the umbrella also gives it stability. The spinning movement may be achieved by rotors or perhaps some other propulsion around the umbrella rim.

Great movie. Especially the "doesn't seem to work".

That was a single "jumping" wing flapping open umbrella. This one is closed and expected to behave as a light air balloon.
