Soup. It's good food.
We're becoming used to sipping coffee, smoothies, and of course soft drinks in our multi-drink-holder cars. No mess, no fuss, no cleanup afterward. Heck, you can sip while you talk on your hands free cell phone.
But eating burgers or burritos from a fast food place
while driving just doesn't work as well. You end up getting grease on your shirt or at least all over your fingers.
How about a nice fresh cup of soup, to go? It can be just as nutritious as the soup mom used to make, much better than a burger and fries. Heck, it requires less digestion because there's no chewing involved. Soothing for the acid-reflux road rage type A set.
What are all those cute little coffee stands that sprouted up in parking lots everywhere going to do when the coffee craze subsides? One word: Soup. Chick-Fil-A does this

I found a couple places that have
drive thru and have soup. |

You
may want to modify it to Drive
Thru Soup Containers, with wider
mouths for chunks and more
insulation. |

They do if you consider chili to be soup. |

I was picturing a _REALLY_ big bowl, and a tunnel... |

Yeah, I was kinda picturing that
drive thru thing as a tunnel of
soup too. |

Or maybe a road hazard on the highway after a Campbell's truck jack-knifes and overturns... |

I thought it was about urban smog (linky). |

//Soup. It's good food.//
Ah, but is it actually "food"? Or is it drink? Or is it unfood, live vampires are undead? |

Soup-to-go is a well Baked concept - there was just such a stand in the WTC concourse before the roof fell in. I think it's going to appeal to foot traffic more than drivers though, who have their cars to keep them warm in winter. |

Yes - baked already this idea is. |

Not exactly the same, but I think it was Campbell's that rolled out a big "soup on the move" campaign recently. You'd microwave the soup in its container, which had a handle and a sippy interface, and rush off to pursue your sporty lifestyle. The tv ad showed soccer moms having soup while ushering the kids around. |
