Evel Knievel style ski-jump drag races

Cars would make grand, majestic arcs through space as the crowd holds their breath, but mainly, you'd get more crashes per race.

A variation (ripoff) of Giblet's vertical drag racing, basically a long jump competition for cars. They have big truck jumping competitions but these go a wimpy 30 or 40 miles per hour when they hit the ramp and go a dozen yards or so. These would be drag racers specifically designed with aerodynamic control surfaces to hit the ramps at 200 plus miles per hour and be judged by how far they flew through the air. Crashes? You betcha! You'd need to be a driver, a pilot and totally insane. I'd pay to see it.

I don’t know, if Einstein, Plato and Aristotle were given the choice between watching this and spending the afternoon reading about: "analysis of the paralogisms of pure reason", I bet they’d choose the flying cars. At least if they were being honest.
