Funeral confetti
Pay your respects in style

For years confetti makers have only had one revenue stream - weddings. But there's any number of events which could benefit from a sprinkling of the stuff. The most obvious untapped market is funerals. Black and dark-purple confetti would be the stylish way to show your respects as the funeral cortege passed by. It would also be popular with goths at parties.

*Not suitable for cremations, obviously

Black spiders. Perhaps if you did white skulls, you could sell into both markets? [DrCurry, Oct 04 2004]

But who's going to throw the bouquet?

I'm more concerned about who's going to catch the bouquet...

Do not the confetti manufacturers also make ticker-tape for sporting/public ceremonies ? If not - they should consider it !

Rock-tossing at my funeral please. Because there just aren't enough riots as it is.
