In some Windows applications, you can design a macro to quickly repeat a series of actions/characters. This saves you having to type them repeatedly. Unfortunately there are many applications (especially archaic IBM emulations in windows) where you have to type stuff over and over anyway - such as
passwords, addresses, etc.
I propose a program which stores a series of timed keypresses in the keyboard. These stored keypresses can then be accessed with a button (M1-10) on the keyboard. The keyboard then sends the keystrokes, correctly timed, into whatever application is currently open.

Highly Baked, I'm sure. I've certainly worked with programmable keyboards that can be jiggered to work with proprietary closed applications, including DOS emulations. |

It is/was baked on 3270 dumb terminals (pre-Windows). Archaic emulations - *pfft* - mumble mumble... |
