Magnifying glass oven

I think people would love it. I loved playing with magnifying glasses as a kid.

I know that solar ovens are completely baked, but they all have to be used outdoors. What if a big magnifying glass could be installed in your roof over your stove and was covered by a shade. If you remove the shade, the sun focuses through the magnifying glass and onto the stove, cooking whatever you desire.

and would actually focus the sun for the purposes of cooking for 10 minutes each year (say between 11:55 and 12:05 on the summer equinox).

Wouldn't it be easier to use a solar cooker under a skylight, than to push your stove across the linoleum, following the burning spot?

There are better ways to use the sun's energy to cook.
