A small jigsaw puzzles' finished outer edge defines the shape of a jigsaw piece. It is one puzzle in a series of fifty or so that when completed, Hodge podged, and dried, becomes a single piece of an enormous, wall sized mosaic puzzle.
The individual puzzles can be different scenes as long as the
overall color of each one fits the larger scheme, (like one of those movie still mosaics) [link]
