Or you could put your exercise bike near the PC to use when the PC is busy. With the money you saved by not inventing/purchasing a mechanism for making your PC work faster using pedal-power you could buy a faster PC instead. |

This might work for a mechanical computer (up to a limit), but I don't think your computer's working slowly for lack of power. |

[jesuk] Assuming all other variables are constant, isn't a PCs processing speed boolean ie. it won't go faster if you add more power, it's either on full speed or switched off? |
