Roller Toaster
Elevating and some times not

Each car has seating that is engineered to ascend and descend at certain points throughout the ride.

With amusement goers strapped into what appears to be a normal fixed seated roller coaster, the cars start to climb a near vertical piece of track, the seats start to elevate the passengers up and out of the cars, clearing it completely leaving feet dangling above with no surrounding enclosure just a large frame enabling the seats to swing.

As the cars scream down the fast piped track and into the various bends and helix, the seats drop back into the cars leaving just a low eye level forward view. Whilst gripping with white knuckles onto a bar and hair streaming behind, you can literally only see at car-eye level at what is coming next until the seats rise again, this time you don't know when.

Annotation:

//plenty of rides where your feet dangle//

That experience is for *that* ride. This is different in the fact that you are lifted out of the car whilst it is moving at certain unpredictable points(unless you learn the track) even that can be changed. You are also returned to a low point within the car, as written within idea.

I dunno, I just have visions of people breaking ankles and legs as they are dumped back down in the car.

Ok Doc ,seeing that this is the halfbakery, would a foot plate help as the seats are positioned into the next viewing and toasting position?
