Beaded curtains are seldom seen these days, but they used to be
popular. Perhaps if some new technology was introduced, they
could have a bit of a resurgence. This is provided for with the
development of the Spooky Beaded Curtain.
it's spooky because it parts its beads automatically just before
you
walk through its portal. It can do this because each bead contains
a set of tiny magnets, all connected to a processor via the hanging
cords that descend from the top of the door frame.
On approaching the curtain a sensor evaluates the person's (or
animal's) general body shape. It then delivers the necessary
information required to activate the magnets contained in the
hanging beads so that they attract/repel each other in the precise
amounts necessary to full them apart, generating the exact gap
shape required for the person to pass through.
After passing, the beads quickly relax back to their static hanging
status.
Inevitable deluxe version can generate dancing figures and other
foolish patterns linked to music and other sounds.

Can it make a "Zwish ... zwish" sound as it opens and closes ... ? |
|
|
I imagine that it could make many sounds. |
|
|
Quite probably, but it only needs to sound like <link>. |
